A major oil and gas producer is looking for a Construction Supervisor to assist with their new facility in the Fort St John area. This position begins at the end of May and is projected to last for approximately one year. The successful candidate will work on a 2/2 schedule staying in camp, and will have extensive experience within natural gas facility construction.
Key Duties include:
Focuses on the daily oversight of all assigned projects
Ensures quality and cost standards are met within allotted timeframes
Participates in pre-construction planning, including project scope, site assessments, site layout, and project details.
Responsible to have appropriate materials at project site in a timely fashion to meet project deadlines.
Receives and verifies material shipment quantity and integrity.
Communicates and/or resolves shipping schedules/conflicts with vendors or operations manager.
Submits required project reports in a timely, accurate, and complete manner.
Completes purchase orders, inventory documents, and time sheets to specified detail daily and weekly.
Performs and completes final inspection documentation.
Other requirements include:
10-15 years experience within oil and gas construction roles
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong leadership and project management skills
Capable of working in both a team and individual environment
Valid Standard First Aid & H2S Alive
Clean driving abstract required
Capable of passing pre-employment drug & alcohol test
