Relief Field Operator

Rocky Mountain House, Alberta


A major oil and gas company is looking for a Relief Field Operator for their field located East of Rocky Mountain House, AB. This is a term role estimated to last 3-4 months with the possibility of turning into a long-term role.  You will be supporting the team with a new well expansion and plant expansion.  Preference is given to applicants that reside in Rocky Mountain House or surrounding areas, however subsistence could be provided for suitable candidates. 

Ideal candidate would be someone with good experience with plungers, small compressor stations, and well versed in Scada, etc. 

Other Requirements Include:

  • Minimum of 5 year's operating experience
  • A disciplined work ethic
  • Capable of working in both a team and individual environment
  • Above average computer skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol test
  • H2S ticket and First Aid ticket
