A major oil and gas company is currently seeking a Field Production Administrator for their Grande Prairie office. This role is responsible for production volume gathering, reporting, and data integrity support. The successful candidate will work closely with Field Operations, Measurement, and Production Accounting teams to investigate and resolve production reporting discrepancies while maintaining strong working relationships with both field and office staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Gather, enter, review, and report monthly production data
Review volume variance reports and investigate discrepancies
Oversee data imports from SCADA, PI, Protrend, and other production systems
Review and enter field estimates into Production Tracker
Monitor meter differences and prorations, escalating variances when required
Ensure new wells are added to FDC systems and assigned correctly
Maintain and update metering schematics to reflect current configurations
Support production reporting processes and respond to production data inquiries
Work collaboratively with Field Operations and Production Accounting to resolve reporting issues
Provide support and vacation coverage as required
Requirements:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Experience with SCADA, Protrend, Production Tracker, PI, PM Suite, or related systems considered an asset
Minimum 2+ years of oil and gas administration experience
Post-secondary education in Accounting and/or Business Administration preferred
Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work effectively with both field and office personnel
