Field Operator
Grande Prairie, ABA major oil and gas company is looking for a Field Operator for their Wapiti field.
This position does not have a camp, you MUST be local to the Grande Prairie area.
This position will run on an 8/6 schedule working 10-hour days in a sour field.

Our Workforce Solutions group works with customers across western Canada to recruit qualified candidates for assignments ranging from emergency callouts to longer term contingent workforce solutions. Our customers rely on us for operational staff, including plant/field operators, turnaround staff, administration, and camp support staff.
In addition to fulfilling the operating needs of oil and gas producing, midstream and pipeline companies, Roska operates, designs and builds well-site facilities, rents equipment and provides production testing and flowback services using a company-owned well testing fleet. Experience and responsibilities include:
- 5+ years operating experience in a gas field
- Mechanical aptitude is a definite asset
- Troubleshooting equipment issues and completing work order requests
- Identify opportunities to improve operations production, processes, and procedures
- Ensure all activities comply with health, safety and environmental practices and procedures
- A disciplined work ethic, self-motivated and strong desire to contribute
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required
- Valid class 5 driving license with a clean driver’s abstract
- Valid H2S, First Aid and CSO
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol test
