Quality Control Inspector

Grande Prairie, Alberta
Our client is looking for an experienced QC inspector to cover a maternity leave position until January 2023. This position is local to Grande Prairie in the pulp and paper industry.
The duties will include working with the welding shop coordinator, site welders, quality control team and other NDE vendors to compile QC binders and organize daily tasks.

The successful candidate should be familiar with:
  • ​​​​​​Fabrication drawings
  • Relevant industry codes
  • Welding practices
  • Preference will be given to those with a CWB 1

Other requirements include:
  • Must be self – motivated, open-minded and results oriented individual
  • Must have a strong commitment to Health, Safety and the Environment
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license
  • Capable of passing a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
  • Hold valid safety tickets (First Aid, CSO, etc.)

This is a contract/temp position terminating no later than January 2023.
