Roska DBO Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant – Field to support our client, a major oil and gas producer, in the Slave Lake, Alberta area.
This position will provide administrative support to the field operations team, including Foremen, Production Technologists, Field Operators and Office/Field Administrators. The successful candidate will be organized, detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced field environment.

In addition to fulfilling the contract operating needs of oil and gas producing, midstream and pipeline companies, Roska designs, builds and operates well-site facilities, rents equipment, and provides production testing and flowback services using a company-owned well testing fleet.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Track field allocations and operator timesheets.
- Process and code invoices.
- Track charts, truck tickets and other field documentation.
- Support the area's safety program, including tracking safety certifications and required training.
- Maintain an organized and accessible filing system.
- Provide administrative support to the Foreman and Production Technologist.
- Assist with AER unsatisfactory records and ensure required PM documentation is current and accessible.
- Maintain accurate vendor and customer information.
- Respond to vendor and customer inquiries and update databases as required.
- Create and maintain tracking spreadsheets for designated areas.
- Provide general administrative support, including answering phones, sorting mail, filing, faxing and photocopying.
- Assist with organizing area events and meetings as required.
- Support Foremen and Field Operators with special projects and administrative requirements.
- Provide additional support to Office and Field Administrators as required.
- Travel between field offices and facilities when required.
The successful candidate will have:
- 5+ years of administrative experience; oil and gas industry experience is an asset.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
- Previous experience with AP/AR software; Pandell experience is an asset.
- Working knowledge of OH&S legislation, AER regulations and industry best practices.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A practical, solution-focused approach to problem solving.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license.
- Ability and willingness to travel between field locations when required.
