Asset Integrity Inspector

Roska DBO Inc. is currently looking for an Asset Integrity Inspector to join our team in Grande Prairie, Alberta. In this role, you will support the Chief Inspector/QC Manager in maintaining and improving Roska’s pressure equipment integrity programs. This position is key to ensuring safe, reliable operations by coordinating inspections, reviewing documentation, and supporting compliance with regulatory requirements.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Support the Chief Inspector/QC Manager with daily quality control and integrity activities.
  • Help implement and manage Roska’s pressure equipment integrity programs.
  • Maintain accurate records in integrity management systems and ensure new equipment is properly tracked and permitted.
  • Generate Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), coordinate inspectors, review reports, and update documentation.
  • Plan and coordinate inspections, turnarounds, annual outages, and installation inspections.
  • Review and finalize Quality Control documents for new construction, repairs, and alterations.
  • Assist with rental returns, maintenance inspections, and inspection intervals.
  • Work with Engineering teams on equipment-related projects and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Participate in incident investigations, damaged component analysis, and Management of Change (MOC) reviews.
  • Conduct periodic quality control checks, vendor audits, and third-party service reviews.
  • Assist with audit preparations (e.g., ABSA) and contribute to continuous improvement of QC processes.
  • Provide training to Roska personnel on integrity programs, regulatory requirements, PSV maintenance, and incident reporting.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of oil & gas terminology, piping systems, and pressure equipment.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; database experiences an asset.
  • Experience reviewing inspection reports, data books, and QC documentation.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Control, Asset Integrity, or related inspection roles.
  • Working knowledge of ABSA/AB-506 and pressure equipment regulations.
  • In-service inspection experience in oil & gas or industrial facilities.
  • API 510 certification preferred; Alberta In-Service Inspector designation preferred but not required.
  • Additional certifications such as API 570 or API 653 are an asset but not required.
  • Must pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol Test.
