Our client, a large oil & gas company, has an opening for an
Accounts Payable/Field Production Administrative Supervisor in their Whitecourt, AB office. The successful candidate will provide support to the organization by successfully managing multiple tasks while working within a team setting. This role functions as a representative of the office while building effective working relationships across the organization. The successful candidate will also develop, implement and maintain the administrative systems needed to support the team as well as act as a general point of contact. Applicants must reside in the Whitecourt area as no accommodations are provided.
Responsibilities and Performance Objectives:
- Support and developing a team of administrative professionals
- Provide financial and administrative support to the organization
- Oversee the processing of invoices in compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Oversee the review and ensure the accuracy of employee timecards and labour allocation
- Provide operating and capital cost reporting
- Gather and review monthly production data
- Review volume variance reports
- Ensure flared and/or vented gas volumes are submitted to Production Accounting by Field Operations
- Communicate with internal & external stakeholders
- General office administration as required
Qualifications:
• 8+ years of administrative experience (preference given to oil and gas industry related experience)
• Post-Secondary education in Business Administration or equivalent years of experience
• Strong working knowledge of Excel
• Experience with the following programs would be considered an asset:
- JD Edwards (Enterprise One)
- Open Invoice (ADP)
- UKG
- PM Suite/Production Tracker
