Roska DBO is currently looking for a Class 1 Driver & Field Technician to join our Operations Solutions Department – the rental services side of our oil & gas business. This is a hybrid role, ideal for someone who wants variety in their work, enjoys problem-solving, and takes pride in getting the job done right.

In addition to fulfilling the contract operating needs of oil and gas producing, midstream, and pipeline companies, Roska Designs, Builds and Operates well-site facilities, rents equipment and provides Production Testing and flowback services using a company-owned well testing fleet. Roska DBO is currently looking for a Class 1 Driver & Field Technician to join our Operations Solutions Department – the rental services side of our oil & gas business. This is a hybrid role, ideal for someone who wants variety in their work, enjoys problem-solving, and takes pride in getting the job done right.
🔧 What You’ll Be Doing:
- Driving equipment to field sites (Class 1 required – trips include some overnight or extended travel)
- Assisting with equipment setup and rig-ins at site
- Supporting day-to-day field operations and hands-on maintenance
- Pitching in with whatever the crew needs – from routine jobs to urgent client requests
We don’t expect you to have all of these – but experience in any combination is a big plus:
- Boom Truck / Crane Truck operation (Journeyman an asset)
- Power Engineering (4th Class, GPO, PFO, or field ops experience)
- Mechanical or pipefitting background (ticket not required)
- Familiarity with pumps, compressor stations, tank farms, and separators
- Strong oil & gas knowledge and safety awareness
- Class 1 driver’s license with clean drivers abstract
- Ability and certification operating small equipment such as forklift and skid-steer.
- Must pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol Test
- Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Comprehension and compliance of all safety procedures
- A disciplined work ethic and ability to take initiative as well as accept direction
- Remain alert, and maintain a high level of concentration along with problem solving skills
- Capable of working in both a team and individual environment
- Physically fit and capable of long hours
- Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Regular hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Some flexibility required – overtime, weekends, or overnight trips as needed when urgent work comes in
- Must be a team player who can switch gears quickly and help where needed
