CAD Designer - Interior Design

Our client, a major oil and gas producer, is looking for a CAD Designer based out of downtown Calgary, AB for a 6 month contract with the possibility of extension. Reporting to the Coordinator, Office Projects, the successful candidate will assist in designing and coordinating a new office space working a M-F schedule. 

Responsibilities:
•         Create architectural drawings and AV installation drawing
•         Develop new as-built drawing packages for new buildings
•         Document and maintain design criteria, office finishes, and AutoCAD standards
•         Provide move support and logistical layout
•         Support office coordination for moves and LMA uploads
•         Coordinate M&E drawings with consultants
•         Perform additional tasks as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

•    Extensive experience working with CAD design software
•    Ability to multitask
•    Organized
•    Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
•    Strong communicator (verbal and written)
•    Post Secondary Education in Interior Design an asset
