- Blueprint Mastery: Read and interpret process pipe drawings with precision, and fit pipe spools by hand according to detailed specifications.
- Inspection: Conduct thorough equipment inspections to ensure top-notch functionality and safety.
- Documentation: Complete all necessary documentation accurately and on time.
- Support Systems: Use manual skills to clamp and provide structural support for pipe systems, ensuring stability and functionality.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety procedures diligently to maintain a secure working environment.
- Successfully pass pre-hire drug and alcohol screening.
- Hold a valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driving abstract.
- Journeyman trade certification required.
- Experience in the oil and gas industry is considered an asset.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills, with exceptional oral and written English.
- Willingness to work out of town for extended periods as needed.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Must be capable of working by-hand.
- Experience with flange management.
- Hammer Union experience is a plus.
- Proficient with hand tools and threading equipment.
- Ability to perform material take-offs for piping systems.
- Capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a team, even with minimal supervision.
- Strong ability to follow directions and maintain a high level of awareness and concentration.
- Adaptability to a fast-paced work environment.
