Key Responsibilities:
Blueprint Mastery: Read and interpret process pipe drawings with precision, and fit pipe spools by hand according to detailed specifications.
Inspection: Conduct thorough equipment inspections to ensure top-notch functionality and safety.
Documentation: Complete all necessary documentation accurately and on time.
Support Systems: Use manual skills to clamp and provide structural support for pipe systems, ensuring stability and functionality.
Safety Compliance: Follow all safety procedures diligently to maintain a secure working environment.
Qualifications:
Successfully pass pre-hire drug and alcohol screening.
Hold a valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driving abstract.
Journeyman trade certification required.
Experience in the oil and gas industry is considered an asset.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills, with exceptional oral and written English.
Willingness to work out of town for extended periods as needed.
Legally entitled to work in Canada.
Competencies:
Must be capable of working by-hand.
Experience with flange management.
Hammer Union experience is a plus.
Proficient with hand tools and threading equipment.
Ability to perform material take-offs for piping systems.
Capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a team, even with minimal supervision.
Strong ability to follow directions and maintain a high level of awareness and concentration.
Adaptability to a fast-paced work environment.
