Gas fitter - Class A or Class B

Our client, a major Oil and Gas Services company is currently looking for a Gasfitter - Class A or Class B for their Fort St. John office.  This is a full-time position on a 5/2 shift. As a Class A or Class B Gas-Fitter you will play a key role in our mission to provide safe and efficient natural gas and propane systems to our clients.

Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Installation, maintenance, and repair of natural gas and propane systems
  • Compliance with local and provincial gas safety regulations and codes
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
  • Pipefitting, including cutting, threading, and connecting pipes and fittings
  • Troubleshooting and resolving gas system and appliance issues
  • Installation of gas appliances and ensuring proper ventilation
  • Conducting pressure tests and safety inspections
  • Keeping accurate records of work performed and inspections conducted
  • Providing excellent customer service and communicating with clients as needed
Qualifications:
  • Class A or Class B Gas-Fitter certification in British Columbia
  • Knowledge of local building codes and gas safety regulations
  • Technical training in gas fitting, plumbing, or HVAC systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and colleagues
  • Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
