Gas fitter - Class A or Class B
Fort St. John, BCOur client, a major Oil and Gas Services company is currently looking for a Gasfitter - Class A or Class B for their Fort St. John office. This is a full-time position on a 5/2 shift. As a Class A or Class B Gas-Fitter you will play a key role in our mission to provide safe and efficient natural gas and propane systems to our clients.

Our Staffing Services group works with customers across western Canada to recruit qualified candidates for assignments ranging from emergency callouts to longer term contingent workforce solutions. Our customers rely on us for operational staff, including plant/field operators, turnaround staff, administration and camp support staff.
In addition to fulfilling the operating needs of oil and gas producing, midstream and pipeline companies, Roska operates, designs and builds well-site facilities, rents equipment and provides production testing and flowback services using a company-owned well testing fleet. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Installation, maintenance, and repair of natural gas and propane systems
- Compliance with local and provincial gas safety regulations and codes
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
- Pipefitting, including cutting, threading, and connecting pipes and fittings
- Troubleshooting and resolving gas system and appliance issues
- Installation of gas appliances and ensuring proper ventilation
- Conducting pressure tests and safety inspections
- Keeping accurate records of work performed and inspections conducted
- Providing excellent customer service and communicating with clients as needed
- Class A or Class B Gas-Fitter certification in British Columbia
- Knowledge of local building codes and gas safety regulations
- Technical training in gas fitting, plumbing, or HVAC systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and colleagues
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
