Plant Operator / 4th Class Power Enginner

Location: Fairview, Alberta, Canada
A major oil and gas company is looking for a Plant Operator / 4th Class Power Engineer to join their busy facility near Fairview, AB. The successful candidate will be operating in a Deep-cut NGL facility. This position runs on a 28 day rotation 3 on, 7 off, 4 on, 3 off, 7 nights, 4 off. 12 hr. shifts beginning 7:30 am/pm. Candidates must have hands on experience operating in a natural gas facility.  Camp is not provided for this role so candidates need to reside within 100kms of Fairview, Alberta.  Start date ASAP.
The facility operational equipment at this facility include turbo-expanders, Solar- turbine compression, recip. and screw compression, amine train, acid gas injection, refrig, EG-dewpoint, heat medium and condensate stabilization. Experience with these process units considered an asset.
Additional Skills Requirement:
- 4th class power engineer with 5th class steam time a minimum.
- 2 - 5 years of gas plant operations experience
- Must be able to follow procedures, understand piping and process equipment
- Preference would be given to applicants with strong processing facilities experience
- Must be a self-starter who can work with little to no supervision
- Valid safety tickets and a clean driving abstract
- Capable of passing pre-employment drug & alcohol test
